After the panel discussions, Linda Kuschel (Bucerius Law School) elaborated on whether cross-border electronic service is a sovereign act on foreign territory. In Germany, regular e-mails do not suffice for proper service, but the use of a special electronic attorney mailbox ( beA ) does.
