We all knew that this administration of the California bar exam would be a disaster. The new test employing Kaplan questions and administered by Meazure Learning suffered setback after setback in the lead up to the test, prompting the bar examiners to preemptively offer refunds and then a free retake.

Since passing the bar in 2013, DeBarros has built a six-figure law firm that focuses on sports and entertainment and has been featured in the news and on numerous podcasts. GPA, pass the bar exam on the first try, and still not have an employment offer? I had to take the initiative. It is very frustrating.

You and a person who went to a “top tier” school will still have to take the same Bar Exam and make it on their own merits. Most of my interactions with clients had been an initial meeting in person, and then emails or phone calls as needed to prepare the case. I do things to wind down.
