In the Dobbs litigation of 2022, 26 states asked the court to overturn Roe and its successor, Casey. SouthDakota, Louisiana and Kentucky have immediate prohibitions that will come into effect. Thus, we remain deeply divided. Missouri claimed to be the first to declare all abortion as unlawful except for medical emergencies.
