Federal court rejects challenge to Michigan’s State Bar membership mandate

The US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit rejected Thursday a challenge to the mandatory membership requirements imposed by the State Bar of Michigan. The lower court citing Supreme Court precedents in Lathrop v. The US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit agreed with the lower court and affirmed its holding.
