Had the DOJ been doing its due diligence, those subpoenas would have been issued long before the fall of 2021. Even worse, Garland’s hypocrisy in his use of discretionary procedural law not only undermines the rule of law, but also plays directly into the hands of Trump, McCarthy and Jordan.
