However, Indonesian judges often apply lex fori (the law of the forum) to protect Indonesian citizens.

There is an interesting controversy in the news related to former Daily Show “correspondent” Rob Riggle who appears to be in the midst of a divorce that makes the Depp-Heard divorce look like an amicable split. If true, the conduct would constitute both criminal and tort violations.

When defendant and his wife were later divorcing in 2019, the annuity came to light, and the wife informed plaintiff that she had seen a check that appeared to have been endorsed by someone else on her behalf. Based on the evidence, the Court affirmed the ruling that plaintiff “possessed a one-half ownership interest in the annuity funds.”.
