Civil group calls for accountability from China over human rights violations in Xinjiang

The International Service for Human Rights (ISHR), an NGO promoting the protection of human rights, recalled on Monday the need for further action to hold China accountable for grave human rights violations in Xinjiang. The ISHR calls for the Chinese government to ensure the correct and timely implementation of the recommendations made by the the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), in addition to permitting investigations in the region.
