MSF suspends activities South Sudan after attack on personnel

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) suspended its medical activities in Yei, South Sudan on Tuesday, following an attack on staff last week. The charity organization, also known as Doctors Without Borders, recounted the incident that occurred on Friday, 20th September, when armed men forced their personnel out of their vehicle at gunpoint and looted their MSF vehicles.

Angola deposited its instrument of accession to the 1993 Adoption Convention on 14 March 2024. According to Article 46(2)(a), and as notified by the Depositary ( i.e. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands), this Convention entered into force for Angola on 1 July 2024. The Depositary provided a six-month period to file objections in accordance with Article 44(3) of the Adoption Convention, which ended on 18 September 2024.
