The US Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Tuesday in a case challenging a federal law that prohibits individuals subject to a domestic violence court order from owning a gun. The case, US v. Rahimi , marks the first challenge to gun control measures since a case from last year imposed a new framework to assess whether firearm restrictions impede on an individual’s rights under the Second Amendment of the US Constitution.

A Bangladeshi female factory worker died Wednesday during protests by workers over pay. Though not taking part in the demonstration, Bangladeshi police fatally shot Anjuara Khatun, a garment worker in a factory in Gazipur, Bangladesh. Anjuara worked at a garment factory in the Zarun area of Konabari, Gazipur. Her workplace closed early on Wednesday as a result of the protests, and Anjurara was shot by the police shortly after leaving work.

Honduran Police announced Sunday that Nicaragua pardoned and returned 21 prisoners, including the leader of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) criminal organization David Elias Campbell Licona, also known as “El Viejo Dan.” Nicaragua also stated on Saturday that they intend to return prisoners to Costa Rica. Upon their return, Honduran officials received prisoners at the Border Control Point, Las Manos.
