It’s just so easy to follow the usual attorney bio format and rarely update or change it — unless there’s a big pitch underway or the firm’s website is being redesigned. The bio becomes an end product of your CV — told in prose form. Those rock-solid credentials and impressive accomplishments get lost among ordinary verbs and uninspired adjectives.

The New Hampshire Supreme Court Tuesday approved a plan to redraw New Hampshire’s congressional districts. The approved redistricting plan uses the “least change” approach, meaning that only five towns will have their congressional districts changed. Theresa Norelli, the former House Speaker for New Hampshire, brought a lawsuit alleging that the current congressional map violates the New Hampshire Constitution.

Despite an increase in overdose deaths, the number of individuals who said drug addiction is a major problem in their community fell by from 45 percent to 37 percent between 2018 and 2021, r eports the Pew Research Center. Additionally, some 44 percent of Americans living in areas where drug overdose death rates climbed by more than the median increase between 2017 and 2020 said drug addiction was a major problem in their community in 2018.

A California appeals court Tuesday held that four species of bumblebees can be added to the state’s endangered species list under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). The court found that bees were included under the legal definition of “fish” in the act since both are a type of ??invertebrate animal species. CESA is an environmental law responsible for conserving and protecting plants and animal species at risk of extinction in California.

Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a free trade agreement in Dubai Tuesday, Israel’s first with an Arab nation. The UAE-Israel Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) was signed by Israeli and Emirati officials, strengthening links between the two countries which established formal relations in September of 2020.
