UN human rights office confirms over 500 civilian deaths in Ukraine

The UN human rights office (OHCHR) Friday confirmed that 549 Ukrainian civilians have been killed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The OHCHR said in a press statement that, among those who have been killed, 41 were children. A further 957 individuals have sustained injuries. Returning citizens in white rural communities face the same high barriers to finding a job as African Americans in urban areas, according to a Texas Southern University study.
