A US federal judge on Friday issued an order punishing former New York mayor and Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani for “continued and flagrant disregard” of court demands. It also prohibits the “disobedient party” from challenging those facts or introducing conflicting evidence.

A federal court in Washington DC found former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani guilty on Wednesday of defaming Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss during the 2020 US presidential election. That said, a jury will still determine the amount of damages to be awarded to Freeman and Moss based on the defamation claims.

A US federal jury Friday ordered former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani to pay $148M in damages to Ruby Freeman and Wandrea Mossin after accusing the two women of tampering with Georgia’s 2020 presidential election results. Freeman and Moss were volunteer election workers in Georgia during the 2020 election.
