Lawsuit filed against Idaho lawmakers for harassing rape victim

An unidentified woman Wednesday filed a civil lawsuit against former Idaho Representative Aaron von Ehlinger and state Representative Priscilla Giddings for allegedly harassing her after disclosing that Ehlinger raped her when she was a teenager. The woman’s report of the rape led to an investigation by the Idaho House Ethics Committee.

Idaho students sue state over new law that removes student ID cards as a valid form of voter identification

College students in Idaho Friday sued the Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane in his official capacity to overturn House Bill 124 , which removes student ID cards as a valid form of voter identification at polling locations from the Idaho Code.
