College students in Idaho Friday sued the Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane in his official capacity to overturn House Bill 124 , which removes student ID cards as a valid form of voter identification at polling locations from the Idaho Code. The case is in the US District Court for the District of Idaho.

Idaho legislature proposes bill to reintroduce firing squad as execution method

The Idaho Ways and Means Committee Wednesday introduced House Bill 186 in the Idaho House of Representatives, which would provide for execution by firing squad. Additionally, if lethal injection is ruled to be unconstitutional, the default method of execution in Idaho will be by firing squad.
